Made it through the whole week without eating. Went to see my counsellor today and was pleased to see that the hard work is paying off - a loss of 10lbs!!!

To be honest I wasn't too sure how to take the news, as I've heard of over dieters losing up to 18lbs in the first week. But the more I think about it, YES, it was a brilliant result and am slowly beginning to feel proud of myself.

Ironically despite the weight-loss I have been thinking (albeit momentarily) to stop and eat something. I haven't as of yet and hope to continue the good work.

Despite me doing the diet for one week, the hardest days have been the last two or three, rather than the first. I just need to hang on in there and get used the idea!

Want to wait a few more weeks to work out my weekly average weight loss, then I can work out a date to hit my target weight.
