Wow, the end of day 2! Was so hungry yesterday, more so than day 1! Had mint-choc shake and two packets of soup all day. Despite the hunger I'm sticking at it as after 3 days on the Cambridge diet, the hunger goes away as your body begins to burn fat and goes in to "ketosis!

For those not aware of the Cambridge Diet, it is simply based on not eating anything other than plenty of water, the sachets of milkshakes, soups and bars (all low in carbs & fat) which you obtain from a counsellor representing the Cambridge diet people. After a few days your body (now starved of carbs) begins to burn up reserved fat (ketosis)... which enables you to lose weight. There are 6 steps to the diet, introducing food in step 1 after four weeks and increasing your calorie intake up to stage 6 - maintenance stage!
